I *WANT* one!

Do I see "Rating: 56Wh" on it? if so...*shrug* someone needs to build a better 9 cell.

that also looks like a 6 cell, I dont see space for 9 cells in it... not standard size ones anyway which could explain the 56Wh
revision 3 - check out their systm and tekzilla shows!

I have the 6-cell in my S10 sitting in front of me. The battery in the picture sticks out almost twice as much as the standard 56wh 6-cell does. But yes, that 56wh label does need to be explained as my 6-cell also shows 56wh on the label.

yeah, i'd buy it if the price was right. right now i just have the stock three cell and it works fine for me because i commute by bus to wall street from jersey everyday. the ride is only about 90 minutes, so there is plenty of juice left by the time i get to the office where i do a quick charge before heading home. (btw, i'm posting this from my bus seat while in the lincoln tunnel under the hudson river :D )

it'd be useful for longer trips, but again i could get a smaller battery for mobility and double my online time without the bulk. any idea how much the 6 cell and the 9 cell weigh? what is that in relation to the net book itself?

As soon as I can find my darn postal scale I'll weigh the stock 3-cell vs. the 6-cell (on and off the S10).

I weighed my S10 with the 6 cell battery and it was 1.3kg. The 6 cell on its own was 300gm. I did it with my wife's kitchen scale so it's not dead accurate but it should be more or less around those figures. Don't have the 3 cell battery so cannot do a weigh in. The S10 with the 3 cell battery is quoted elsewhere from 1.1kg to 1.2kg so the 3 cell battery will weigh from 100gm to 200gm, probably 150gm if it is half the size of the 6 cell. Hope someone will do the actual weighing to confirm.

the 3-cell battery is 175g. the haobattery 6-cell and the cameron sino 6-cell both come in at 320g.
