Vista battery drives?

Vista battery drives?

I have installed vista buisness on my s10 but vista wont display current battery status, just says that its at zero and needs to be pluged in

Did it work fine with other operating systems?

it worked fine when I had xp installed

I have Vista Ultimate installed and haven't had any issues with the battery not displaying charge/discharge & time left. There were no special drivers.
Black Lenovo S10, 2gb RAM, 500gb Western Digital HDD, Bluetooth, 6-cell chinese knockoff battery.

I had Vista Ultimate installed also and had no issues. Was it a full install or was it a "light" version? If it was a light version, I'd do the install over. If you still have the problem, check with a different battery if possible. The last thing I'd suspect is the unit itself.

I popped the battery in and out a few times and now its working fine.
