Handwriting & Note Taking

This decice seems to not be able to work with a stylus very well - I bought a Pgo stick fromt he Apple store as it will work on this sort of touchscreen.

But the notes taking capability is very slow (want to take notes in meetings) as is the hardwriting recognition. And this style is not a sharp point so it is more for drawing like a magic marker.

Does anyone know of some software I should try on this? And also a better stylus?

You can try the DAGi stylus. Seems to have good reviews.
