3g card driver issue in XP

I am having an issue with my f3507g 3g card in win xp on my S10e-4331. if I press Fn + F5 it shows up as 3g and I can turn it on and off in the Lenovo wireless manager. It shows up as 'erriccson 3507g wmc composite device' in device manager but I cant get it to install any drivers. If I go through the manual process (select which driver to install) and install the erricson modem driver it will install but then states 'the device cannot be started'. Has anyone else had this issue? I have seen on other forums that the card shows up as multiple devices that can be installed individually but this is not the case on my machine
