And you are sure that you cannot use the web cam in iChat?

(Don't need to put in aim-log in data on start, just continue and continue two or three times. Then search in the Menu Bar for Video Preview...

If it works, there is still the AppleScript that helps for PhotoBooth. I will try tonight.

Edit: I tried it and it works... Would be very interesting to know whats the difference between ichat and photo booth camera access methods...

Edit2: Camtwist is a good tool to try. The only downside is, that you always need to run camtwist before the application that u want to use, and that application needs to be <> ichat.

Sorry for kind of hijacking this thread.

Some days ago I had a direct link to an IBM page with firmware 14C97WW that is now installed on my S10.
I remember, the link can be found in the first post from the S10Enabler. :-)
Only firmware for EasyCamera is now needed...

Hello Gritsenich,

do you may have more information about the update? I tested it yesterday, after I got my Windows back (http://s10lenovo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4360), but I got the message: This system needs no update...

I am using the 3.10 firmware...

Hello, Apex!
Sorry for long silence. I think the firmwares 14.xx and 03.xx are for different kinds of Bison cameras hardware. I tested the firmwares 14.04, 14.05 and 03.10 and the camera worked with iChat only using the firmware 03.10 (with 14.04 have RGB face). I heard there was the firmware 03.15 but I haven't found it yet. Still searching...

I just used the FWs from this post

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2276&start=10#p21250

unfortunately lenovo.com's support site has nothing to help with the webcamera drivers anymore
