Short of buying something like WindowsBlinds, which is both bloaty and annoying:

The zune theme (direct download link) - black and orange (just in time for Halloween).

Alienware has free Windows XP themes, as well as matching Media Player skins and icons.

Secret unreleased Windows XP theme. It's kind of a bluish-black.

for altering the appearance of my widows partition my preference is bricopacks

there are really only 2 choices, but if you take the express installation it will not take up any more resources then windows normally dose.

I need a nice RED Lenovo type theme to match the color or my S10. Any suggestions?

this looks pretty cool. they even include a theme patcher for xp SP2 and xp SP3. i dont think you need to load any third party other than the theme patchers. let us know how it works out.

I like this theme for my Red, but I applied the patch, and downloaded the Theme zip files, but still can't find a "Theme" file to apply. Anyone else figure it out?

 UxTheme patcher killed my computer. There was a time when I would be worried about losing everything. Now, I just calmly dug out my ipod for background music and fixed the booger.

Sometimes I miss the good olden days when computer problems were hard.
