Do these settings (performance, low power, etc) only apply when on battery power?
The reason I ask is I played around with changing them when plugged into AC power. I noticed the screen dimmed when I switched to low power.
Also, how do I keep it from hibernating on A/C power? Basically I want a different option (standby vs hibernate) for when I am on A/C power vs battery.
Personally I like the Standard Windows XP power management which allows me to pick different options for AC power vs battery.
Am I missing something here?
Thanks...
Greg
