How Can You Install Microsoft Office on S10?

Postby popeye » Mon Aug 17, 2009 9:56 pm

Buying an S10 and newbie to netbooks. Do not know how to install programs on CD on to S10. I have Office 2003 from Dell. Is there any way of getting that on the S10 and to get it to work as well? Info appreciated, thanks.

The easiest option is an external optical drive. My other suggestion would be to use another system (with a CD drive) and a copy of MagicISO or something similar to make an .iso image of the Office CD. Put that on a USB drive, copy it to the netbook, use Daemon Tools to mount the .iso, and you're off to the races!

Oh yeah, that would work too. No need for a CD image. I'm just stuck on iso's these days. :)

Probably just a flash drive, bigger than the original Office CD.
