I use my S10 with my Nokia N6120c for internet access when I do not have WiFi access.

Where did you order from, Lenovo ?
6-cell or 3 cell version? I assume you have actually made it work with a device, not just looked at the manual...

I have black 3-cell version on order from them, it it would certainly be a nice present if it had Bluetooth.

Yes. It's the 4231A8U. According to the label on the packaging it was only manufactured two weeks ago (about when I ordered) so it's definitely new stock.

Thanks, that is the model I ordered too. So you actually made the Bluetooth work?
My order was stipulated to take a little more than two weeks, should be shipped at the end of the month. Good to hear there was no further delays.

It works, though I'm probably going to change the driver from the preinstalled Lenovo/Broadcom to either Microsoft or BlueSoleil as it was difficult to get my keyboard and mouse to pair. A quick Google search found that people in Europe and Asia have had the same problem.

Mine was actually only supposed to be shipped next week, so it was about a week ahead of schedule from their original estimate. :)

I also ordered an S10 this month. On the 14th to be exact. Good to hear they're shipping out.

What do you use bluetooth for most often? Was it worth it?

I already own a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, so it's worth it for me, but in general I'd say it's something that's simply nice to have rather than an essential feature.

But what you need it for in your tiny netbook? Bt will only accelerate the battery discharge in my opinion.
What are you need it for guys??? headphones only?!

Wireless mouse and tethering to my Blackberry. Saves me 50 bucks a month to use my BB Sprint 3G Wireless Broadband instead of a separate Broadband account with USB adapter. And it's just as fast as being physically tethered with a USB cable. Works great on the train during my daily commute. It's the best thing you can do to your S10. No brainer if you ask me. My real question is why would you NOT want to have a small, portable, fully connetected machine. And I lost 8 pounds from my briefcase.

Thanks for the helpful topic. I installed mine last night. Works great with the Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse 5000 I picked up the other week.

I picked up the module for 15.00 with free shipping on ebay from: http://myworld.ebay.com/linknergy, and it came with the cable and screw. FYI, the auction was a buy it now for 18.88 or best offer, so I offered 15, and it was immediately accepted.

EDIT: And the seller is from the US, so I got it a couple days after I bought it.

I bought from the same seller too for $14.99, it just came today. It works good, however it does not work with the Intel 5100 wireless card I installed. So, I had to put the original wireless card back. Hopefully, someone will figure out a fix for this problem. I would like to use the wireless card and bluetooth together.
