Hi Folks,
I don't know if you have realized it, but as an audio pro there's something that REALLY gets on my nerves:
If you have a high gain output (loud videos on youtube etc.), in short: well-compressed and -limited audio-streams, the audio output (which is a low-gain phones-out, unfortunately, and not a high gain line-out) has an overridden, crackling sound - even, if you lower the volume. At least if I use the output on external speakers. I suppose the input-gain of the Realtek driver is too high.
When listening to low gain audio, the problem is gone. Is there any way to adjust gain level of Realtek driver?
Thanks in advance.
Greetz
BTW: Excuse me if I used wrong terms. That's because I'm german...
