my disk partition
- Code: Select all
/dev/disk0
#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
0: GUID_partition_scheme *320.1 GB disk0
1: EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1
2: Apple_HFS Mac OS X SL 144.9 GB disk0s2
3: Microsoft Basic Data 174.9 GB disk0s3
yes, if i need repair or manipulate with Win7 disk partition i set active disk0s3 active
if u need install SL, ofc set disk0s2 active
let me think. u have installed Windows 7 (image), maybe better start clear SL install, in diskutility while instalation start manage partition, and after SL install end, set Windows partition active and clone back ur instaled win7. After u check win 7 is works, set active back partition with chameleon and press F8 u can choose which system u want start
after u done SL install, and clone or install Win7 on active windows partition, maybe u need repair windows 7 boot.. be sure any time which disk u select for win7 repair inside windows 7 installer. My experience: if no correct partition active (win7), 4 times i destroy my install win7 flashdisk.
/sorry my english
