Im racking my head with this... thought I couldnt boot because of the MBR so I reformated the HD with guilded and no luck just wont boot... just goes to a promt after the levnon boot screen goes away.. any help would be nice... Thanks

So you get the blinking "_" when trying to boot the USB installation medium? Did you prepare it exactly as in the instructions? Looks like the bootloader isn't being loaded correctly. Did anyone else succeed yet, or is it a general bug?

Most likely still a bug in the bootloader installation script... maybe you need to reinstall the bootloader or try to set the partition active (using fdisk).

Ye, maybe.. sorry.. maybe i am rly somethin missin, coz now must go (meet with girlfriend) - ill check that after back in home

I'm also not getting it to boot. I've tried reinstalling it several times

Have you used fdisk to flag your partition active? The installer should do this, but maybe it doesn't work yet, so you might to have to do that manually.

I tried booting with both partitions active and neither worked

hmm still same, cant boot.. maybe some bios issue?

testing with 8GB USB Kingston and 8GB SSD Transcend(ExpressCard)
tryin too Diskpart in Win7 for active partition - nope
