Have leopard + vista + fedora working - want windows 7

good day to you
i have on my lenovo s10e 3 oprartion systems :
leopard 10.5.6
windows vista
fedora

i want to delete the vista and install insted windows 7
also
i want to delete the fedora and install ubuntu for netbook

is there a way doing that without deleting all the hard drive and start from the start?
i don't want to delete my leopard

First thing would be to fire up the Win7 installer, delete the Vista partition, and use it for Win7. When you install, it will set the Win7 partition active, so you'll have to probably set OSX active again to get your bootloader working properly (I don't know what you're using, but this is usually the case with Chameleon). Do the same thing for Fedora - delete the partition and install UNR in its place. Just be sure to install GRUB to the Linux root partition - NOT the MBR or "sda".

Worst case, you'd have to set OSX active and also reinstall Chameleon to the MBR. Should be simple if you have a Chameleon bootloader on USB somewhere, or they're easy to build yourself. If you have a Mac somewhere, it's as easy as installing Chameleon to a blank USB stick and booting with that.

Boot up with your OSX installation DVD, and open a Terminal window from the Utilities menu. Then do what this guide says:

HTH! I personally have a PartedMagic USB key on hand at all times for all of this kind of stuff, it's much easier to use. But this will work with what you already have.

There is also a link in the navigation bar (Programs) that will get you to the actual download. My advice is to ignore the command they give you for running syslinux, because it never worked for me. You can try it, but the way I did it Instead was to use a Windows command prompt to navigate to the folder where the syslinux zip was extracted, and to the win32 directory inside. Then type:

syslinux.exe -ma x:

Where x: is the letter of your USB key. Then just copy the rest of the files to the USB key and you can boot with it. Hope that works for you.

after i building the usb drive with parted magic
i am booting from it and than....? how do i make my Chameleon boot loader appear again?

Start the partition editor, right click on the OSX partition, and change the flag to "active." I'm not sure if it will still be on the MBR, you may need to boot with a Chameleon USB stick to start up and then reinstall it after setting the partition active. You can download the .dmg image from the first post in the first link in my signature, it will format a USB key with Chameleon. Or download something like DellMiniBoot and put it on a USB key with syslinux.
