s10-3 Australian eBay $219

G'day Guys,

I bought an s10-3 about a month ago for $219 from eBay.com.au and it's been one of the best PC purchases I've made. I'm not sure why they're priced so competitively, I could hardly find any deals less than $300 for even netbooks of other brands, but whatever the reason it's a great deal, they're an authorised lenovo dealer and have been selling hundreds and hundreds of these for weeks. For Aussie s10 buyers it's free postage, arrives in a lovely lenovo box, brand new, with all the parts and warranty information. I know most of the users on the forum are US based, so you might have to consider postage prices and enquire further; I buy a fair bit of stuff from the US and postage can be a little expensive, should be less than $40 though, maybe check auspost.com.au for a quote. Also the power adaptor will have an aussie 3 prong plug on it, but the lenovo transformer is rated for 100 - 240 volts so with a power point adaptor it'll work happily on 110 volts.

I'm loving this computer so far, I had to tweak it a lot to get it running nicely, now it's only using a committed 340MB of ram and 55 processes at idle. I've been using it for engineering at uni and to tune the efi computer in my race car, this suits so much better than my thinkpad. I can't wait to get 2gb of ram and an ssd for it.

Anyway, Cheers guys
