DealExtreme finally came through.

Postby DCO » Tue Apr 28, 2009 5:59 pm

It looks like DealExtreme is finally selling batteries for the S10.
So far all they have is a black 6-cell, but it's only $48.
One thing I noticed, however, is that the feet look different than all of the other non-OEM 6-cells, so it might be from a different manufacturer than the batteries on eBay.
I'd bite the bullet and buy one to see how the quality is, but my S10 is white. Hopefully they will start selling more batteries for the S10.

It also looks like it's lower capacity (5040 mAH) than either the OEM or some of the eBay batteries. Buyer beware.

Oops, I didn't realize they were a different capacity. That's a bummer.
How much less battery time would this one get compared to the higher capacity batteries?

I'm really tempted to get one of these.
Check out PrizeRebel. It's simple. Fill out surveys to earn points. Then use the points for FREE MS Points and Live Subscription Cards. I suggested using 10MinuteMail and completing the offers that require email confirmation first. They are the easiest.

Looks like they just got some 9-cell batteries.

White 9-Cell 7800mAh ($51.71)

Black 9-Cell 7800mAh ($56.88)

It's hard to tell from the pictures they provided, but it looks like these extend downwards more than all of the other 9-cells batteries.

I'd be more comfortable ordering a 6-cell direct from lenovo for ~$60-70 than saving a few bucks and likely end up getting screwed.

Lithium Ion batteries aren't something you want to skimp on.

Hey that's great. It could serve as a backup battery for when I use mine at school.

I trust the site, since I purchased a camera pen off their. Just make sure you don't buy anything illegal, my friend bought $70 worth of stuff along with a BB gun and it got caught up in customs, and he lost it all.
