So those of us who ordered 5 weeks ago have to wait.. but someone who ordered yesterday gets next day shipping.. haha.. something is weird about all of this.

Or perhaps they received a large bulk of netbooks from production and have enough to satisfy all orders to date and its just a matter of getting them all boxed for shipping?

I agree but that what happen to me... I was not expecting it until the holidays... Lets just see if I have a tracking number in the morning....

I still have a preorder at Amazon for the Acer Aspire one (Sapphire). Hope that comes soon so I can decided which one to keep.

Sounds like there are two of us who ordered yesterday who are geting shipping today.... and I'm not an employee but I did use the CPP site.

I got two white one order placed, both using CPP. Just got emails at the same time on both of them said that they're shipped. The email was received on 10:33am.

1st order:
placed on 9/5/08 with the estimate shipping date of 11/14/08

2nd order:
placed on 9/20/08 with the estimate shipping date of 10/13/08

well, looks like us who ordered yesterday just got lucky that we got them in at the distribution center...if you ordered a white one, you should hopefully be seeing shipping emails very soon is my guess...

9/23 -> 10/6 (phone) -> 10/21 (website) -> 9/24 ("shipped").

I recieved the same email posted earlier, and I can only assume that my "full or partial order" translates to a box with the back plate, keyboard, and AC adapter.
