IBM PC110

So I saw this thing mentioned here in another post somewhere, but I thought I'd post it just for everyone to drool over (I did anyway, haha)

Image

33Mhz of raw power in the palm of your hand. Released to Japan only in 1992. The precursor to today's "netbook" and "umpc"; years ahead of its time.

I saw one on eBay but the seller wants $400 for the thing. Who knows what the original MSRP was in '92 (couldn't have been cheap though).

More info can be found over here http://www.basterfield.com/pc110/pc110idx.htm

Oh yeah, I drooled over that before netbooks were the rage. And for a while IBM had WebBoy available for download, while the Micro PM GUI (sort of like OS/2 lite) was mentioned in it's embedded operating systems website. I think it was available way back at Dynamism.
Plants vs. Zombies on the S10 is such a fun stress-buster.
