Can s10-2 run OS X?

Can OS X be installed on the new s10-2, and if so, is the process the same as previously described for the s10e?

I had a Dell mini 9 with OS X on it, but it got stolen. They keyboard on the Dell was way too small and the " key was in the wrong place, so I didn't like it at all. The Lenovo seems to be much better designed, but I want to make sure that the new version (s10-2) is hackable.

What are the differences between the two models ?

Looks like the same hardware except the chipset is bumped up from the 945 to the 950GMA. Audio may be different, I can't find any specs handy to confirm. People do have OSX running on 950 machines, according to Google.

A few differences:
S10-2 compared to S10

+Right shift key is larger and placed correctly
+Third USB port
+Larger trackpad

-Express card slot is gone
-Glossy screen - Yuck!

I say yes until proven wrong. There are no known reasons it would not run, even if there *might* be some small hurdles with the 950 chipset.

I've successfully install Mac OSX 10.5.6 using the MSIWindosx86.iso method. I tried the S10-USBMaker, but no luck with that or creating my own using OSX86Tools.

So far, the main problem I'm having is that the USB ports don't work. Not sure how to fix this...

*Edit: I installed 10.5.4, not 10.5.6...

Jong3r, how did you do the 10.5.6? Was it direct from the dvd or a combo update? Can't seem to update it to 10.5.5 and later after installing a 10.5.4 msiwindosx86 distro.

Btw, the USB ports died on me the first time too but I think I prematurely quit the intro video which might be the culprit. I did a fresh reinstall and it worked fine again.

Using the S10-USBMaker, I could never get it to boot into the OSX Installer. What would happen is that it would go to the Apple Logo splash screen then just reboot and it would sit there in a loop.

From what I'm reading, the S10-USBMaker would be the way to go, but I could only get the MSIWindosx86.iso to work.
