Lenovo Training Videos

Postby skyhook59 » Fri Jan 02, 2009 3:04 pm

I'm not sure if these have been posted anywhere on here before, but if not, thought some of you might find these helpful:

http://www.lenovoservicetraining.com/ion/S10e/index.html

Has video on things such as how to replace the keyboard, install bluetooth, etc. Includes both 'Customer Replacement Units' (CRU) and Field Replacement Units (FRU).

Hope these help,

The S10e Technical Service Videos are great! Looks as if it is mostly (perhaps completely) appropriate to S10 as well. Now we can think about:

1. Different wireless cards
2. Different speakers
3. Swap in a touchscreen one day
4. ... And so much more.

This is the closest I have come to a "DIY computer kit" since I stopped building and using custom desktop systems and moved to using laptops.

Skyhook59, thanks for discovering this and sharing it with us.

Mine was not. It was attached to the palm rest with some electrical tape and is connected to the mo/bo with a standard connection such as the speakers
