I just got my eBay Bluetooth module. I have a question regarding turning the BT on and off though.

From what i understand, the Wireless button is used for both the Wireless and BT. I've even seen screen captures of people's setups, where it brings up a screen that you can select which wireless device (wifi or BT) you want to disable.

However, on mine, it only brings up the usual wireless on/off icon in the bottom right corner. I have no option for BT. The BT is working as I've paired my Blackberry and my BT headset to it, but I can't seem to find any way to turn off the BT on it's own. I've loaded the BT driver package from the Lenovo site but I'm not sure if there's any other files that seem to be loaded. Any suggestions?

Never mind...user error. :D

Fn+F5 to turn on/off Wireless/BT was what I was looking for.

My order was stipulated to take a little more than two weeks, should be shipped at the end of the month. Good to hear there was no further delays.

Just to to confirm that the wait for Lenovo Direct was worth it; the S10 arrived and had Bluetooth in it. Seems to work OK with the just purchased Interlink mouse. Next step: Install 500GB Hitachi 5K500K B-500 drive.

Also ordered from http://myworld.ebay.com/linknergy. Was here in two days and includes cable and screw. Took longer to download the drivers from Lenovo's site than to install it. Works fine with a 10 minute old factory OS image, including F5 function. Using Kensington mouse so far, will add GPS and other crap later after I rebuild the OS to my liking.

I went to the lenovo parts page listed on page 19 of this thread. I guess lenovo had to many people ordering the cables because they went from $8 up to $25. the card is still $19 they just raised the cable price.

i bought one of the hellowifi BT modules, and ensured they shipped the Bluetooth 2.1 compatable module. I have it working via Win7 and Mint7 Linux, but have not been able to get good drivers for WinXP.

Anyone got an idea of how to install correct drivers for Broadcom Bluetooth 2.1 module BCM2046?

Try Fn+F5 before OSX is loaded right after turning the system on. Each press will cycle through off and on for the WIFI and Bluetooth.
